Terms of Service

Please carefully review the following Terms of Service, which govern your access to and use of Fellaride’s platform (the “Service”). These terms contain essential information regarding your legal rights, responsibilities, available remedies, and certain disclaimers and limitations.

These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Redefine Technologies Inc., Canada.

The Service operates as an online platform where Drivers and Passengers (defined below) can post and arrange Carpooling trips directly with each other for non-commercial and personal use only. By using this Service, you acknowledge that Fellaride is not a party to any agreements between Drivers and Passengers and does not control the actions of either party. You understand and agree that Fellaride is not an insurer, agent, or broker, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, you release us from any liability arising from these arrangements.

Definitions

• Member: Any registered user of the Service, including Drivers and Passengers.
• Driver: A Member who offers available seats in their vehicle to share with Passengers.
• Passenger: A Member who books a seat in a Driver’s vehicle.
• Account: A Member’s personal profile created to access the Service.
• Trip: A journey from an origin to a destination at a specific date and time, including pick-up/drop-off points, available seats, and space for personal items. Trips are created and managed by Drivers.

Modifications to Terms

Fellaride reserves the right to change the Service or these Terms of Service, including any applicable fees, at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on the Service, and the “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revisions. By continuing to use the Service after changes are posted, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

Member Responsibilities

• Account Verification: Members may be asked to verify their Accounts via email or phone. Fellaride does not independently verify a Member’s background, reputation, or conduct. You are solely responsible for assessing the suitability of other Members. We encourage you to communicate carefully and exercise the same caution as you would when meeting someone new.
• Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your interactions with other Members. Fellaride is not liable for any harm or damages arising from these interactions. We reserve the right to monitor communications and restrict access to Members who post objectionable content.
• Release of Liability: In case of disputes with other Members, to the maximum extent permitted by law (particularly under Quebec’s Loi sur la protection du consommateur), you release Fellaride and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from such disputes.

Member Conduct

All Members must act responsibly and with integrity. This includes:

• Driving safely and lawfully, using roadworthy, inspected vehicles, and not driving under the influence.
• Respecting the rights and privacy of other Members and third parties.
• Not using the Service for unauthorized purposes or to harm the platform (e.g., hacking, spam).
• Not harassing, stalking, or abusing other Members in any form.
• Not using the Service for commercial purposes unless explicitly authorized by Fellaride.
• Registering for yourself only and not on behalf of others.
• Being at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.
• Not assisting others in violating these rules.

Reporting Misconduct

If you witness inappropriate, offensive, or unsafe behavior by another Member, you must immediately report it to the appropriate authorities and notify Fellaride. While we encourage reporting, doing so does not obligate Fellaride to take action or assume liability.

Service Access

• Eligibility: Fellaride facilitates carpooling connections. Passengers are responsible for contacting Drivers through the Service to arrange trip details. Fellaride reserves the right to restrict or remove Service access at its sole discretion.
• Service Limitations: Fellaride may, at any time, limit access to certain users, groups, or destinations.
